MCAT (Major Case Assistance Team) is a multi-jurisdictional unit of multiple law agencies that assists in homicide and other significant investigations, as well as accident reconstruction, forensic investigation, officer-involved death investigations, and surveillance. MCAT-STAR is the unit assigned for Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction.
