Arlington Heights Fire Station 4 at 3030 North Arlington Heights Road is the far north location of the Arlington Heights Fire Department fire suppression, rescue and EMS companies of District 4.
Fire Station 4 is usually equipped and ready to respond for assignments with one ambulance (Ambulance 1) and one fire engine (Engine 4). Firefighter/paramedics from Station 4 are first due in District 4 in Arlington Heights, and are part of MABAS Division 1 mutual aid response system.
District 4 units are sometimes called to assist Buffalo Grove and Palatine. Engine 4 is often the first to arrive at fires in Buffalo Grove because Buffalo Grove’s jurisdiction is directly across the street from Fire Station 4.
District 4 fire companies also respond to parts of Route 53.
Closest to Lake Arlington, Fire Station 4 also houses the fire department’s boat unit and water rescue unit. The fire station also usually houses the fire department’s HazMat unit, utility vehicles and reserve vehicles.
