Arlington Heights Fire Station 3 at 2000 South Arlington Heights Road [MAP] is the far south location of the Arlington Heights Fire Department fire suppression, rescue and EMS companies of District 3.
Fire Station 3 is usually equipped and ready to respond for assignments with one ambulance (Ambulance 3) and one fire engine (Engine 3). Firefighter/paramedics from Station 3 are first due in District 3 in Arlington Heights, and are part of the MABAS Division 1 mutual aid response system.
District 3 units are sometimes called to assist Mount Prospect, Elk Grove Village, and Rolling Meadows, where District 3 companies often respond to Rolling Meadows address just west of the intersection of Algonquin Road and Golf Road.
District 3 fire companies are usually first on the scene for incidents on I-90 west of Arlington Heights Road, along Rolling Meadows, and as far as Schaumburg.
Fire Station 3 also usually houses the fire department’s reserve tower ladder, utility vehicles and other reserve vehicles.
