When using a website that needs to know your location on an Apple iPhone, Location Services on an iPhone must be set to “ON” and Safari must have permission to access your location when the Safari app is open. If you don’t have Location Services on, you will get a message something like this …
“Sorry, but we can’t find you right now”
To turn on Location Services, go to …
Settings >> Privacy >> Location Services
Turn Location Services ON
Once you turn on Location Services ON, specific apps, such as Camera, Safari websites, Siri & Dictation and Weather will ask you for permission to access your location while using the App. A list below the Location Services ON/OFF switch will show whether apps status is “NEVER” or “WHILE USING APP”. The first time you use an app with Location Services ON, the app will ask for permission to access Location Services. If you say “NO” of “DON’T ALLOW” you will have to go to Settings >> Privacy >> Location Services and manually give permission in the list that includes the respective app.
