Camelot Park (1005 East Suffield Drive) is connected to Willow and Lake Arlington parks by the Camelot Connector Park. Camelot’s location is unique, and includes a creek and pedestrian bridge, outdoor swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, an updated parking lot, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court large fields, and a community center with an indoor track and gym. Nearby residents have Camelot as their neighborhood park and community center — a short distance from Lake Arlington to the east. Camelot has a special, rustic feel with a small creek running through the park’s boundary in the southern and western part of the park district property. The pedestrian bridge is a wooden bridge arching across the creek. A covered picnic site provides shelter. The path loop around the community center property, which includes the public sidewalk is 0.67 of a mile.
A $6.4 million dollar renovation upgraded the gym in the new 18,522 square-foot building.
