Chicago Alderman Toni Preckwinkle has won big in the Cook County president race, beating incumbent Todd Stroger and two other challengers. Preckwinkle proceeds as the Democratic nomination for cook County Board president.

Preckwinkle beat Metropolitan Water Reclamation District President Terrence O'Brien, Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy Brown, and Todd Stroger.
