A Michigan woman was arrested for prostitution late Friday night at a hotel on Algonquin Road in Arlington Heights. Kari Knox, 36, of Coloma, Michigan was arrested on a felony charge of prostitution for allegedly agreeing to have sex with an Arlington Heights Police Department undercover detective.
Police responded to a Craigslist.com advertisement that advertised “a sensual session with pleasure and excitement.” A meeting was arranged at the Algonquin Road hotel and Knox was paid $300 dollars. When the word “sex” was identified as part of the agreement, Kari Knox was arrested.
Court date is May 21 at 9:00 a.m. at Cook County Circuit Court in Rolling Meadows. Kari Knox was freed after posting $1000 bail.
