Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:01 PM Saturday January 13, 2018 of a theft in the men’s locker room at LA Fitness, 345 East Palatine Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed the victim’s lock from a locker in the men’s locker room, gained entry to the locker, removed the victim’s wallet, and replaced the damaged lock with a new lock.
The wallet contained $80.00 cash along with the victim’s credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards. The offender(s) then attempted to make unlawful purchases with the victim’s credit cards.
The police release did not declare the location where unlawful credit card attempts occurred.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, January 13, 2018 between 5:15 PM and 7:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 1:45 (hours: minutes).
