Snowmobilers in Newfoundland, Canada rescued a moose that had become stuck in deep on snow this past week.
A man risked his own life to rescue a deer stuck in the middle of the frozen Mon River, New Eagle Pennsylvania. He was tethered by a lifeline as the ice cracked beneath his feet.
A woman in Florida rescued an iguana that fell from its resting place on a tree when cold temperatures overnight stunned. However, a lot of people don’t like Iguanas because they an invasive species that cause a lot of damage.
A shark conservation group says a fourth thresher shark has been found frozen off the coast of Cape Cod. Thresher sharks are large sharks of the family Alopiidae found in all temperate and tropical oceans of the world, but ocean water in New England is so cold that it is apparently killing sharks from “cold shock.”
