Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:01 PM Saturday December 16, 2017 of a theft of purse at the Mobil gas station, 3005 East Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle while she was pumping gas and removed her purse. The purse contained credit cards, cash, gift cards, driver’s license and two cellphones. A witness reported a tan sedan occupied by several subjects pulled up along the victim’s car. One subject described as a young black male entered the victim’s vehicle and removed her purse.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, December 16, 2017 between 2:45 PM and 3:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:15 (hours: minutes).
