Barrington police, Lake County Sheriff’s deputies and Barrington Countryside firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:30 PM Tuesday December 19, 2017 to a report of a fuel oil spill with an explosion but no fire in a house at 27230 West Cuba Rd, Il Barrington, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a fuel oil spill with an explosion but no fire. There was also a report of gasoline spilled throughout the first floor near the kitchen.
A mutual aid hazmat response was immediately activated.
