Northbrook police responded about 2:40 PM Sunday December 17, 2017 to a report of two retail theft suspects that fled a store near Lake Cook Road and Skokie Boulevard Northbrook. Police received a report that two offenders fled a store in the area after a retail theft was committed.
The offenders were described as two male/black subjects, last seen eastbound on Lake Cook Road.
The suspects were believed to be in a beige or gray 2005 Nissan Altima.
Northfield police spotted the suspects eastbound/southbound on I-94.
The vehicle and suspects were stopped by Northfield police and Illinois State Police on eastbound/southbound I-90/94 at Keeler Avenue by 3:17 p.m. Two suspects were in custody and the situation was secure by
