The Chicago Cubs beat the St Louis Cardinals 5-1 to clinch their third consecutive playoff berth with a Wednesday night. The Cubs open the National League Divisional Series (NLDS) against the Nationals on Friday, October 6, 2017.
The Cubs play the Cardinals in St Louis tonight, then play three home games, then play the Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Cubs will take on the Washington Nationals starting next Friday, October 6 2017.
