A kitty cat invading the field near Royals center fielder Lorenzo Cain turned out to be good luck for the Cardinals (Molina’s Grans Slam on YouTube.com/MLB).
A St. Louis Cardinals groundskeeper retrieved a kitty cat from the outfield that interrupted the Cardinals-Royals game in the bottom of the 6th inning. On the very next pitch at Busch Stadium by Peter Moylan, Cardinals’ batter/catcher Yadier Molina hit a grand slam to bring the St. Louis Cardinals to an 8-5 lead. Final Score: 8-5.
