“American Idol” Singer Haley Reinhart Arrested For Punching Bouncer at Lamplighter Inn on Bothwell Street in Palatine.
Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:00 PM Saturday July 8, 2017 to a report of a an intoxicated subject and a disturbance at Lamplighter Inn Tavern & Grille, 60 North Bothwell Street Palatine, IL. Palatine police responded a little before 2:00 a.m. to a report of an intoxicated subject, and Palatine firefighter/paramedics were dispatched about 2:01 a.m. at the request of police.
Additional details released reveal that police were called to the Lamplighter Inn Tavern & Grille, 60 North Bothwell Street, about 2:00 a.m. Saturday after reports that American Idol Star Haley Reinhart and her friends flipped over a table and were asked to leave. As they were being led out, police said, Reinhart scuffled with a member of the security staff and struck the man in the head with a closed fist.
It was unknown if any injured person was transported to a hospital.
Haley Reinhart, age 26 and 5’2″, was charged with battery and released on bond. Reinhart has an August 2, 2017 court date at Cook County Circuit Court in Rolling Meadows.

Reinhart’s attorney, Dina LaPolt, denied the allegations Monday night. “Without provocation, Haley Reinhart was assaulted by bouncers at the Lamplighter Inn,” LaPolt said in a statement. “After forcefully removing Ms. Reinhart, they violently beat her friend, who sustained multiple injuries. We believe that she will be exonerated of all charges once the investigation is completed. We plan on taking legal action against all those who were involved in this unfortunate incident.”
