Intersection crash involving a rolled over Palatine Fire Department ambulance, a minivan, and a red sedan at Palatine Road and Rohlwing Road.
Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:02 PM Thursday June 22, 2017 to a report of a rollover crash of a fire department ambulance, involving two other vehicles at Palatine Road and Rohlwing Road Palatine, Il. Palatine Ambulance 83 was en route to a call at the Northwest Community Hospital Treatment Center at 500 North Hicks Road when it was involved in a rollover crash involving a total of three vehicles.
Two paramedics and the driver of a white minivan were transported to Northwest Community Hospital. All three patients were initially believed to have minor injuries — not confirmed by officials.
The crash involved a red sedan with moderate damage on the driver’s side, a white minivan with heavy front-end damage, and the ambulance rolled onto its driver’s side.
