Pickup Truck vs Work Van Parked on Driveway on Hintz Road in Arlington Heights.
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:28 PM Monday March 20,2017 to a report of crash with injuries and entrapment on Hintz Road west of the intersection of Hintz Road and Berkley Drive Arlington Heights, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics arrived to find a pickup truck crashed into a white work van that was parked on a driveway. The gray pickup truck went airborne after leaving the roadway and launching on an incline on the front lawn of a home on Hintz Road. The pickup truck landed on the driver’s side of the work van.
The pickup driver, an adult male, may have left the roadway because of a medical issue. He was transported to Northwest Community Hospital. He was not pinned in the truck, but needed assistance getting out of the truck. The van that was hit was unoccupied, and no other injuries were reported.
