Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:00 AM Thursday of a theft at Trader Joe’s, 17 West Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that unknown offenders took the victim’s wallet from her purse, which had been placed in the upper portion of a shopping cart.
The wallet and its contents were valued at $175.00. The offender(s) then used the victim’s credit card to make purchases totaling $606.56 at Starbucks, 1802 N. Arlington Heights Road.
The offenders were described as …
#1) a Hispanic Female, 5’2″ 140 LBS, wearing a head scarf, a tan coat, and black yoga pants, and
#2) a Hispanic Male, 6’3″ 250 LBS.
Both subjects spoke with a heavy accent and were described as having medium complexions, dark hair, and being 30-40 years old.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Thursday, February 23, 2017 between 10:55 AM and 10:59 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:04 (hours: minutes).
