Streamwood police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:41 PM Sunday February 19, 2017 to a report of a pedestrian hit by an SUV at Irving Park Road and McKool Avenue Streamwood, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a boy was hit by a vehicle.
The boy was transported to St. Alexius Medical Center with extra paramedics working in the ambulance. The boy was pronounced dead at 8:31 p.m.
Ronald Guidry was crossing Irving Park Road near Sunnydale Boulevard west of McKool Avenue about 7:40 p.m. when he was struck by a Chevrolet Suburban heading eastbound on Irving Park Road. The driver of the Chevy Suburban was a 58-year-old man.
No other injuries were reported.
