Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:05 AM Tuesday to a report of a hit-and-run pedestrian incident at Oakton Street and Busse Road Elk Grove Village, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a person was hit by a vehicle, possibly suffering serious injuries, and was down in the roadway in front of Motel 6.
Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that the man was hit by a black sedan that left the scene.
Three lanes blocked westbound Oakton Street west of Busse Road for investigation.
The victim was transported to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, and is initially reported to have injuries that do not appear to be life threatening.
Elk Grove Police Department is urging anyone with information about the driver’s identity to call Elk Grove Village Police Department at 847-357-4100.
