Arlington Heights police responded about 10:01 PM Tuesday to a report of a retail theft at Jewel-Osco, 440 East Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that two female offenders fled the store with alcohol beverage bottles.
An employee chased the two female offenders into the parking lot. The offenders crossed Rand Road in heavy traffic and cause screeching tires and horn-honking as motorists slammed on their brakes to avoid hitting the fleeing suspects.
A white getaway car picked up the two female subjects.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 about 10:00 PM.
