A pedestrian was also injured in the shooting and was transported in a personal vehicle to an area hospital, where the patient was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Rivera said.
Police canvassed the area and checked if any nearby businesses captured video surveillance of the shooting, but no suspects have been detained. The circumstances that resulted in the shooting are unknown.
