North Chicago police responded about 9:35 AM Monday to a report of a vehicular hijacking, 1817 Jackson Street North Chicago, IL. A suspect took a vehicle in an armed vehicular hijacking. The vehicle taken was described as a maroon 2001 Dodge Durango with a large rust spot on the passenger side door — license E 44 8790.
The offender is described as a male/black 6’2″ with a thin build, wearing a blue-and-white bandana across his face, and a black hoodie. The suspect was armed with a handgun.
The suspect and vehicle was last scene northbound on Jackson Street.
