Lake Zurich police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:44 AM Wednesday to the area of Home Depot, 670 S Rand Road Lake Zurich, Il. Police called Lake Zurich Fire/Rescue to the scene reporting a crash with a vehicle fire and unknown police activity near Walmart and Home Depot.

Fire/medic crews were initially staged near the scene.
Firefighters on the scene reported there was no vehicle fire, but that some type of hazards may have existed with the car at about 3:49 a.m.
Lake Zurich Fire/Rescue Battalion Chief 206 requested a second ambulance at 3:53 am.
Multiple police cars on scene after some type of bizarre behavior resulted in a “tactical” crash near Home Depot. At least one offender was in custody.
