Video captured on a dashcam showed the color of greenish-blue meteor early St. Patrick’s day morning, March 17, 2016. The dashcam video was posted on Twitter by DJ Paul Gilbert and appears to show the meteor over Battersea in London.

Witnesses described the meteor as a green flash moving south to north for a few seconds. The meteor left a white trail. Sightings were reported in London, Hampshire, Stafford and on the east coast of England at about at 03:16 GMT. Multiple cameras part of the UK Meteor Observation Network captured the meteor at Scotch Street, Clanfield Observatory, Wilcot North East, Wilcot North, the Norman Lockyer Obervatory, the Natural History Museum, and Church Crookham Station.
The St Patrick’s Day meteor is reported to be the largest meteor captured by the UK Meteor Observation Network.
