Sarah Palin’s husband Todd Palin is reported to have been in “a very serious” crash Sunday night and is currently hospitalized in a hospital Intensive Care Unit.
Sarah Palin then canceled a campaign stop for Donald Trump in Florida on Monday after receiving news of her husband’s snowmobile crash in Alaska.
In a statement, Trump’s campaign said: “Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine (snowmobile) accident last night and is currently hospitalized. Governor Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband and looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon. Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time.”
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin will stop by a Trump town hall in Tampa, Florida, but has canceled her other planned appearances with GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.
Palin endorsed Trump earlier this year, and was scheduled to appear on Trump’s behalf at noon ET in The Villages, Florida about 45 miles northwest of Orlando. Just minutes before the scheduled start time for the event, the Trump campaign advised that the event had been canceled.
Trump is scheduled to hold a rally at 2:00 p.m. Monday in Tampa, Florida.
