Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:33 PM Tuesday to a report of a shed fire in the horse barn area at Arlington International Racecourse, 2200 West Euclid Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received multiple calls from passersby on Route 53 of a shed on fire in the west end of the property near the horse barns.
Rolling Meadows Engine 15’s crew on arrival reported a fully-involved shed fire with the nearest exposure about 50 yards away at 12:39 pm.
The crew extinguished the fire using the fire engine’s deck gun.
Arlington Heights firefighters also responded to the scene.
