Ringleader Abdelhamid Abaaoudb the Paris attacks is confirmed dead after a police raid that involved a seven-hour shootout that took over a neighborhood and collapsed an entire floor of the apartment building where the terrorists were hiding. Now investigators want to know more about the female suicide bomber, Hasna Ait Boulahcen.
Elite French firearms teams surrounded a Saint-Denis apartment building preparing for a pre-dawn raid where they believed Abdelhamid Abaaoud was hiding in a “safe house” apartment.
The raid began at 4am.
Hundreds of police marksmen, supported by military units, surrounded an apartment at 8, Rue du Corbillon. A seven-hour shootout with the terrorists ensued.
Female suicide bomber Ait Bboulahcen, a cousin of Abaaoud who was traced to the apartment, detonated her suicide belt as she pretended to give herself up. She screamed ‘Help me, help me!’ at police. Police yell, “Is that your boyfriend?” The woman replies, “That’s not my boyfriend.” Hasna Ait Boulahcen is apparently Europe’s first woman suicide bomber. Her head and spine were found in the street after being blasted through a window.
Mixed media reports claim K-9 unit “Diesel” a 7-year-old Belgian Malinois was either shot and killed before the explosion or was killed by the explosion.
A 26-year-old female ISIS suicide bomber, Hasna Ait Boulahcen blew herself up as she tried to deceive police into believing she needed to be rescued. CNN’s Anderson Cooper reports.
