Illinois State Police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:27 AM Friday to a report of crash with injuries and entrapment at southbound Route 53 south of Dundee Road Palatine, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a rollover crash with a gray vehicle that hit a tree and people trapped in the vehicle. The first crew on arrival reported no people were trapped in the vehicle, and that all passengers were out of the vehicle. The crash was located on the right shoulder at southbound Route 53 south of Dundee Road.
The call was also incorrectly reported as southbound Route 53 south of Lake Cook Road, which caused a second response onto Route 53 at about 8:29 a.m.
