A pool that feels like swimming through air … CNN’s Jeanne Moos introduces the “Sky Pool”
After about three years of construction, an acrylic “all-glass” pool elevated at about 10-stories will act as a bridge between two apartment buildings in Embassy Gardens, a 2,000-home luxury high-rise complex in London’s Nine Elms neighborhood.
Designed by Arup Associates with Eckersley O’Callaghan, the pool design is 90 feet long and nine feet deep with a water depth of four feet, according to the Ballymore Group, developers of the complex.
