VIDEO: Motorcyclist transported by ambulance after crashing into a large tree on Euclid Avenue between Hickory Ave and Beverly Ln, Arlington Heights.
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:14 PM Monday to a report of a motorcycle crash with injuries at Euclid Avenue and Hickory Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a motorcyclist was injured after crashing into a tree. Apparently no other vehicle was directly involved in the crash.
The motorcyclist hit a large tree, and suffered moderate blood loss on the roadway. The injuries suffered were apparently non-life-threatening.
The male motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
A one vehicle motorcycle crash occurred less than three weeks ago on Euclid Avenue just two streets west of today’s crash scene. That motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle and hit the roadway. He was wearing a helmet.
Both motorcycles received significant damage in each crash.
