Des Plaines police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:20 PM Friday to a report of multiple people shot in the street at 1364 Prospect Avenue Des Plaines, IL. Firefighters/paramedics on the scene found one 13-year-old male who was shot in the face near an apartment complex west of Mannheim Road. The boy was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, and was listed in serious condition.
No other people were shot, but a second ambulance was called to the scene for a person that passed out or fainted.
