Arlington Heights Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run about 6:45 p.m. Monday. A witness reported that a red VW Jetta 4-door hit a silver Lexus near Walnut Avenue and Euclid Avenue in the parking lot of Christian Liberty Academy.
Four occupants of the Jetta fled on foot after the accident. A male, black in his late teens or early 20’s, and possibly wearing a Cubs jacket, fled on foot down Northwest Highway and three females fled on foot eastbound on Euclid Avenue.
Arlington Heights Police towed the red Jetta and are investigating the hit-and-run property-damage-only accident.
