Chicago police, firefighters, and paramedics responded about 8:30 p.m. Friday to a report that two people people were shot at Nordstrom, 55 East Grand Avenue in Chicago.
Early reports indicate the shooting was domestic-related and occurred near the cosmetics department. Early investigation indicates a man shot a female and then turned the gun on himself.
The male shooter was dead at the scene. The female was transported to Level I Trauma Center Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she is listed in critical condition. No other injuries were reported.
