Snow in Western New York, Upstate New York and Buffalo measured 3 to 6 feet by Wednesday. Plunging temperatures have left thousands snowed in over upstate New York, and the cold and snow is connected to a total of at least seven deaths. At least three were cardiac incidents related to snow shoveling or snow removal. At least on death was from a car crash.
