Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:58 AM Thursday to a report of a stabbing victim at Savannah Trace Apartments, 1400 Dixie Court Schaumburg, IL. Police on scene requested firefighter/paramedics come to the second floor of an apartment building to treat a stabbing victim.
A 20-year-old Schaumburg man was stabbed. He was transported to a local hospital and released later in the day.

Jeremy Walsh, 27, of the 1400 block of Dixie Court was charged in the stabbing that occurred at his residence Thursday, according to Schaumburg police.
Walsh was charged with aggravated battery/use of deadly weapon and is still being held at Cook County Jail bond Monday. His bail amount is $75,000. His next court date is December 3, 2014 at Rolling Meadows Cook County Circuit Court.
