WCVB Channel 5 Boston: 30 injured when pumpkin festival turns to mayhem.
Police and firefighters responded to a large outdoor party Saturday that escalated after parties from Friday night. Keene Police Department has confirmed that dozens of people were arrested this past weekend. An investigation by local police and campus police will be assisted by state officials, according to Governor Maggie Hassan.

Disturbances lasted until early Sunday near Keene State College after an annual pumpkin festival erupted into mayhem and led to arrests, injuries and police in riot gear using tear gas.

Riots continued in Keene on Saturday night, with some people setting a fire in a street. WMUR’s Jean Mackin reports.
