Birmingham police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:00 a.m. Tuesday to a report of an active shooting at the UPS Customer Care Center, 4601 Inglenook Lane in Birmingham, Alabama. The facility is near the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.
Three people are reported dead in a shooting in the UPS sorting facility, where the suspected gunman and two other victims were found dead inside the UPS facility. The shooting was finished before police arrived, and Birmingham police officers did not fire any shots. The suspect was found wearing his UPS uniform.
Police have not released the identities of the victims or suspect as of 10:30 a.m.
