Video of car crash into store front window of Yankee Candle on South Evergreen Avenue in Arlington Heights — the second vehicle in a store front crash on South Evergreen Avenue in two days.
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:04 AM Friday to a report of a car crash into a store front at Yankee Candle, 27 South Evergreen Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a woman drove her car into the store, and was still in the car — shaken up.
Firefighter/paramedics arrived immediately and checked the woman to make sure she was not injured. She was not transported to the hospital, and apparently signed a medical refusal.
The vehicle traveled a significant distance inside the store, but no other people were injured.
Yesterday about 11:42 a.m., a mini-SUV crashed into a store front at RUSH Performance Personal Training Studio, less than one block away. The crash caused minor injuries to four pedestrians.
