Chicagoland weather radar shows snow moving across most of Northern Illinois. Light snow is observed in the area, and 1.5 inch has accumulated so far at 6:30 a.m.
Snow is expected to continue until about 11:00 a.m. and then taper off until about 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
An additional 2.2 inches of snow (total 3.7 inches) is expected to accumulate in Arlington Heights by about noon Wednesday.
The morning rush hour is expected to be affected negatively by this system with hazardous conditions possible.
