Flight attendants instruct passengers to exit a Delta flight in Oakland, Calif.
After a Delta Airline Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft landed at Oakland International Airport at about 9:17 p.m. Wednesday, the aircraft is reported to have been evacuated because of smoke and/or smoke order. No chutes deployed, and about 70 passengers exited through the main cabin door. No injuries were reported.
Oakland firefighters responded the airplane’s gate assignment area. Firefighters determined the smoke came from air conditioning pack.
