Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE PRECIPITATION TYPE RADAR] shows precipitation moving west to east across McHenry County and Lake County and across Kane County and Will County. Waukegan is reporting light snow. Snowfall in Arlington Heights is forecast to start about 11:00 a.m. and last until 5:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Snow might diminish to only flurries between 8:00 p.m. and midnight. About 1.8 inches of snowfall accumulation expected by 9:00 p.m., and another .3 inches are expected overnight from midnight to 5:00 a.m. Total accumulation by Sunday morning is forecast to be 2.1 inches.
