Arlington Heights police received a report on Wednesday of a high value theft of jewelry in the block of 2800 country Lake Rd Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took $8700 worth of jewelry items.
Jewelry was first noticed missing on October 10, 2013.
On November 6, 2013 the victim noticed more jewelry missing.
Jewelry missing included a white gold necklace valued at $1200, a pair of white gold and platinum earrings valued at $5600, gold hoop earrings estimated at $150, an amethyst gold and diamond necklace valued at $1000, a three-color pair of gold hoop earrings valued at $250, and a necklace earring and bracelet set valued at $500.
Police are investigating whether someone who had access inside the house may have been involved in the theft.
The crime is reported to have occurred between August 15, 2013 and October 10, 2013.
