Chicago weather radar is clear [LIVE RADAR]. Only a small band of thunderstorms are indicated northwest and southwest of Danville. A cold front has already passed through the area without any events. A large band of clouds (stratocumulus) covers southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Clouds are expected to decrease slightly until about 6:00 p.m., and then increase again overnight. We are not expected to see a lot of blue sky until after 10:00 a.m. Monday when the high is expected to approach 90°F.
At 9:00 a.m. some temperatures are still in the upper 60s northwest of Lake Zurich in Cary, Crystal Lake and Woodstock, Spring Grove, and Lake Geneva (Wisconsin).
Winds are expected to be steady just over 10 mph with gusts to 17-20 mph between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Winds are expected to switch to the southeast about midnight tonight.
