“World Record For the Greatest Height From Which A Basketball Is Shot”
A World Record 98-meter shot was made off the top of the Euromast in Rotterdam, South Holland in Netherlands on September 2, 2013. Kyle Nebel made the shot in just 62 attempts. The Australian team from How Ridiculous travel the globe making trick shots in their effort to help children in poverty.
A big thanks to Bavaria for bringing us to Rotterdam in The Netherlands to nail this shot.
According to a witness, there was an official Dutch premier-league basketball referee and a notary who checked weight, sizes and measurements.
Euromast is an observation tower in Rotterdam, Netherlands constructed between 1958 and 1960.
The “crow’s nest” observation platform is 315 feet (96 meters) above-ground and includes a restaurant. Considering the record, thats make Kyle about 6 feet tall.
The Euromast was designed by Hugh Maaskant.
