Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:16 PM Saturday of a theft at Savers, 780 West Dundee Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took a black Motorola Photon smartphone valued at $499.
The victim left the phone on a counter and returned to find the phone missing.
When the victim called the phone, a male answered the phone and hung up.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, July 27, 2013 between 12:05 p.m. and 12:15 p.m.
