The big weather news involves cold temperatures for July combined with breezy chilly winds up to 20 mph gusts from the northwest. Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday overnights were record lows for Chicago Executive Airport at 57°F for July 27, 2013 and 55°F for July 28, 2013.
Chicago O’Hare missed a record low on both days — compare 55°F/52°F (1985) on July 27, 2013 and 54°F/51°F (1984) on July 28,2013. Chicago O’Hare International (official Chicago) could tie or break a record low overnight (tomorrow morning about).
