Arlington Heights police and Prospect Heights firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:15 PM Saturday to car vs pole crash at Palatine Road and Schoenbeck Road Arlington Heights, IL. The driver of a maroon Honda CRV eastbound on Palatine Road hit a large traffic signal/street light standard at the southwest corner of Palatine Road and Schoenbeck Road. The vehicle continued for about 800 feet and came to a stop at the curb of the eastbound frontage road of Palatine Road.
The driver was injured and transported by Prospect Heights firefighter/paramedics to a local hospital. No word on the extent of the injuries.
No word on charges or citations.
