The Bartlett Police Department and several neighboring law enforcement agencies have experienced a rise in residential burglaries, according to the Bartlett Police Department.
Since November 2024, the police department has investigated six residential burglaries on …
Longford Road,
Pleasant Drive,
Timber Ridge Drive,
Fairview Lane,
Regency Drive, and
Timberline Drive.
The majority of the residential burglaries involved unknown individuals prying open rear windows or doors to steal cash, jewelry, and other valuables. In some cases, the suspects cut electrical power or internet connections to disable surveillance cameras.

Stay vigilant by securing all entry points to your home.
Lock all doors and windows.
Reinforce doors with deadbolt locks and security plates.
Use security bars or dowels on sliding glass doors and windows.
Make your home appear occupied and enhance security by using timers on lights and electronics when you are away.
Arrange for mail and packages to be collected while you are out of town.
Install a security system with alarms and surveillance cameras.
Use motion-activated exterior lighting and keeping your home well-lit.
Park a car in the driveway to make it look like someone is home when you are away.
The Bartlett Police Department continues to work closely with local law enforcement agencies and task forces to investigate these residential burglaries.
Residents are urged to call 9-1-1 immediately to report any suspicious vehicles or activity in their neighborhoods.
