Illinois State Police responded about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, February 9, 2025 to a report of a stalled vehicle near the shoulder on I-90 WEST just east of Roselle Road. When the Illinois State Police trooper arrived, he discovered a driver asleep at the wheel inside his black Cadillac SUV, which was slowly rolling westbound on I-90 WEST.
The vehicle was stopped by about 4:37 a.m. near the ramp to Roselle Road. An Illinois Tollway HELP truck was assigned to help stop the vehicle.
The driver was arrested suspected of DUI.
The incident was about 2 miles west of the scene of a rollover truck crash involving a Toyota that occurred on I-90 WEST near Route 53 about 3:53 a.m. Illinois State Police troopers and Hillside Towing were still at the scene of the crash when the call for the black Cadillac SUV moving westbound with the driver asleep at the wheel.
